This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Okay, Just Done your deformation to a cone using a lattice. No problem even with a cone that has 2 divisions in its height. I think you are pulling outer control points that have no effect on an object with very little subdivisions. And why would you want to do it on a nurbs cone anyway? You have plenty of smoothness control on that anyway. Try your test on a cube and get back to us......
hmmm... well I was about to go and take a screen capture video of what i was doing and all of the sudden it worked... hehehe... ah... Dont you love Maya??
