I'd like to keep the Output Window in the background...

I'm adjusting color, specularity, transparency and glow on a bubble-like object. I'm making lots of quick renders and deleting, and repeating. The Output Window is becoming a nuisance as it's just one more thing to delete, and it covers the controls, etc. Is there a way to disable it, or keep it in the background?

That is a weird problem to have, I keep mine minimized and tend to forget about it until I need it.

or you could just drag it to the bottom so all you can see is the top of the window… that's what i do.
