Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Super Villain_Lord Voldemort

It isn't a marvel/ DC Comics character but hey he is pretty evil in my book.
I haven't done anything yet since i just saw Mike stretched the rules a bit.(thanks Mike)

I don't think that i have to write a backstory for this character

More to come

Thanks guys

Did you work on the actual movie Hammer? or was it part of a course which could use the stock material?

Anywho, i just started roughing out the shape, there isn't much detail in it yet, and the eye is a place holder.

My aim is not so much as trying to model Ralph fiennes (not that i can't) but i try to make him according to the description in the book;
.... having very pale skin, a chalk-white, skull-like face, snake-like slits for nostrils, red eyes and cat-like slits for pupils, a skeletally thin body and long, thin hands with unnaturally long fingers.[17] As mentioned in the first chapter of the seventh book, he also has no lips.....

But if i don't like the way he looks by then i will go for the ralph fiennes look user added image

thanks guys

I've been fiddling in ZBrush some more to get a bit of a feel for color and looks i made the skull more snakelike but am not entirely sure if i will do this or the Ralph fiennes look(a bit of a dillema between wanting to make something reall or letting the creative juices flow)

Let them juices flow mate! Looking really good

I would probably go down 2 routes, keep the model as it is and do one thats mad and one based on the actual voldermort

Hi anasasis, you are right about the ribs i was just fiddling with zbrush to get a form.

I have redone his head and fiddled with some color in ZBrush.
I think it looks a bit more proportionate than the previous ones.
I will start with his hands and feet next, then finish up the robes
