Hideous popping showing up in render

Hi,

I animated a walk cycle and it looks allright when I play it in Maya, but then when I render it out and play the rendered frames, there's a point at which the toes just "snap" out of place. This only happens in the rendered scene. I've triple checked the graph editor to see if there's any rogue keys floating around, but I didn't find any. I also rendered it from a different angle to see if maybe it was just a trick of the light, but it shows up there too. Does anyone know what might be going on? user added image

Do you just have a skeleton rig or do you have geometry attatched to the rig?

A pic would usefull .

Select the rogue vertices of that toe and check the weights in the component editor.
