one is a continuation of the GI, which will be basically the creation of Blend Shapes for facial set up, controls etc. And the other I'll be keeping under wraps as its pretty darn sexy!!!

Cheers

gosh look at this thread i missed out.. wish i was here sooner.

just a question .. is kraken a squid or octopus. it looked like a octopus in the movie. buts kurts looks like a squid. perhaps he's just changing a few things to make it look cooler. like having 8 legs instead of 10.
do you have any idea what will be the release date for this tutorial?? or not quite sure yet?

good luck!!

I think i going to change teh creature a bit.. I like this one but it fairly easy to model and is mostly made of one cylinder.. new one is a bit more unique and a bit more challenging to model.

Yeah looks great...and the more challenging the better...
looks like you could get some really good looking skin and textures going on this one...
How about another set of arms (limbs)?

yep, totally. i think it should be slick and smooth. some good spec maps might give it a slimy type of a look.
