[demo] creature

second character for my demo.
i want to finish all modeling before i start texturing them,
so i started this one today.

just freeform modeling, and letting it take shape as i go along.

C&C welcome.

Hey Vlad

Very nice work, he can have a place in my Outlaws universe LOL

Are you building just the head/bust or the whole thing with props etc? Should be good for Z, which incidently I'm waiting to arrive any day now to add to my armory.

Look forward to the rest...

Best
Jay

i dont think ill do a ZB pass. ill go really high rez on the subD. this is to show weight and mass for this model, for my reel. maybe next character will be ZB'ed.

im still waiting to find time to model that quadruped character from your outlaw sketches. user added image

Hey Vlad

Time is always a problem...but I look forward to the rest of this one

The quadruped creature from Outlaws was used by Glen Southern of ZB fame for one of his forum challenges at www.subdivisionsurfacemodeling.com a while ago. He started it in Silo for the members there then let them Z the rest.

Cheers

Amazing work Vlad - really cool model - I really like all of those folds in his skin and on his nose, though the top fold coming from the eye looks just a touch out of place or too heavy, but hey, what do I know?

Great work mate! user added image
