This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

thick clothing

lets say u wanted to create a thick cloth,,,,,is there an easy good way to create it? Im totaly noob to maya.......Thanks in advance...

cloth as in shirt/pants? or cloth for a table? Most of the time i model all my geometry to look like what ever i need it to be... But depending on the situation some times i use maya cloth or sofbodies.

Once I find out what your planning i'll be able to suggest which way would be best for you project.
