Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

basic animation issue

So I'm animating a skeleton. It's set up as a character set with with the auto-key button on. I want for example:

pelvis translates Z frames 1-10. pelvis translates Y fr. 10-15. but what happens, is pelvis translates Y from 1-15 rather than 10-15. Everything I change screws up previous keyframes, if I go back and fix them, it screws up what comes after. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks

Break the connections to any pervious set animations, turn off autokey and start again.
