Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Textures are on.

I tried restarting Maya, but still have the same problem.

Any ideas?

did you hit 6 in the side view panel?
the panels are independant of each other, if you hit 6 to show hardware rendering in perspective it wont do the same for the others

maybe turn your grid off too if that doesn't help...

if that doesn't help then i'm out of ideas... it happened to me once when i imported someone's picture of a train... zoomed out and it showed up and then turning the grid off made it show up

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
Maya, XSI, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Motion, Illustrator, Flash, Swift3D

name your prefs to 'oldprefs' and restart the computer, maya will make a new default set of prefs.., its worked for me occasionally in your situation.., if it doesnt you can delete (when maya is off) the new prefs and rename the old ones.., and.., sorry thats my only suggestion atm.

maybe reinstall the latest driver for your G_card

you might also try turning the reference around to show the other side.., you might have show both sides off

take it easy and life will be easy
