Maya 2013 problem when starting: Menu set update
I am having a problem opening Maya 2013.
When starting Maya a window appears that suggests an update for the Menu sets
I allowed the update to happen, but the problem is Maya won't open. It becomes frozen.
I tried skipping the update and the same thing occurs and Maya won't open.
I have Windows 64 bit Maya 2013 installed
I tried repairing and reinstalling it. I even downloaded the Service pack that was available, that doesn't work either. I downloaded it after Maya wouldn't open.
Any solutions would be great and if there are other people who have the same problem, please let me know how you resolved it.

Sounds like it's time to run malwarebytes and or reinstall your system and then check to be sure you have a valid version of maya.
