selecting other sides!

Hi, I need help, I keep selecting other sides edges and I've tried reflections off but still doesn't work. thank u much apprecciated. user added image

Ah, you got a new thread going, good. Sorry, hasty reply in the other thread. Check soft select. 'b' to toggle on/off. Can you post a screenshot, if not?
