paint f/x

hi, is there any way to modify the bubble paint brush so that the bubbles flow from the surface angle and not always flow straight up because of the -.2 gravity. i've tried making the gravity 0 but the bubbles just scatter. i want to use it for a bubble trail emitting from a torpedo traveling horizontally.

Make the elevation min/max 1.0 and the random 0.

Couldn't you paint your bubbles, then rotate and move the path to where you want it?
