thanks guys, glad you like him user added image

and your right about the looney tunes look, dont think thats a bad thing though..marvin the martian is the greatist character of all!!!

At the moment i havent desided if i will be connecting the hands and feet to the body yet, so he may not look like rayman for much longer... ill do a few fersions and see what people think..

thanks again for your input user added image

Really like this character!! Especially the fact that he has no arms or legs. If you get a good walk cycle going his hands will look so damn cool man!!! aw8in' to see more.

glad everyone like him, i hope to have him finished and the next few days user added image

Jed, the shader is a basic blinn, one light just over the camera, and another behind to create the rim effect. It was also rendered with the help of the "SKY" ( a raytrce gi) plugin that can be DL from highend.....it can be slow, but i think it gives the best gi results iv seen using maya own renderer user added image

heres a small update....bob does lara croft!

i think the textures still need more work (colour change etc). And i need to fix the metal cuz it doesent realy look like metal at the moment. Im also going to have to do some major fixing to the feet, not sure what yet, maybe re-model, maybe re-texture..

anyway tell me what you think
