well...doesn't sound like the setting are set to hight...what is the sampling on the area light set to? what is your photon intensity set to? Also, how fast is the machine you are rendering on ?
Thanks,
Brian

Have you tried setting your near and far attributes under the final gather tab in MR Globals?

im using an Atlhon XP 1.8ghz, 512mb ram,, the settings are FG1000 rays min 0 max 0, GI 1000rays, min 0 max 3, photons the intensity its not important but the nr of photons are .. the 2 area lights are emmiting 10.000 photons and using a sampling rate of 6, i think i need a new computer.. thats the problem..lol

Yeah, there's not much you can do. all of your settings are pretty low. I think it has to do with the computer sorry. But, its a pretty nice quality image. As far as the photon intensity, I was just curious, I know it doesn't effect render time or anything. Nice work

Nice job!

Main things that jump at me:

1) outline of the rug seems very pronounced.
2) plant holder doesn't match overall quality of the rest of the image.
3) the couch pillows seem a little odd, but might be a taste thing.

good stuff!
