They were talking a bout Doom as a movie ever since it came out back in 1990. I hope they come out with a Doom / Quake / Castle Wolfenstine / and as many as they can, Hell I’ll even go see a Mortal Combat 12 flick, it’s all good.

Zelda is by far one of my favorite video game franchises... as much as i'd love to see it get made into a movie.. i know what hollywood does to video game to theater conversions.... and it usually doesnt come out pretty... i think Zelda would be especially difficult becuase Link doesnt talk in any of the games. He has no actual personality becuase its up to the player to decide... besides... could you imagine sitting in your theater seats excited as the opening scene finally appears and BAM!!! theres vin diesal, dressed up in a green mini skirt and elf hat... they might want to sell barf bags with their popcorn for that movie

i'm not saying they'd have Vin Diesal play link... i'm just saying its sounds like something they'd do

It was an hour because it was going to come out this summer. It got rescheduled so they had more time to work on it. They decided to make it 80 to 90 min. since they had more time to do the movie.

The story actualy sounds really good. There's an article about Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. They showed the first 40 min of the movie in Vience Film internatinal (I think thats the name). And the article explains what the first 40 min is about. If you want to check it out go to www.gamespot.com.

I look at these as entertainment.....and when it comes to that I pretty much enjoy everything.....we have done pretty much every baseline idea for movies...portals to other worlds, portals to hell, demons, satan, heaven, space, space travel, dumb people,psychos,traffic,drugs,sex....you get the idea.....and all other movies from now on are going to be variations of these base forms.....but sometimes....just sometimes it's good to see a story hacked up and done with a new twist...gives it a fresh new life

while it seems like we've done everything we possibly can for a movie... i still have hope that something will come along and create a whole new genre for the movie industries
