keeping eyes in synche

y all, simple question

im excited that im finally able to animate and lip sync and i love it
i do however have a simple problem.

i want the eyes to move together, is there a simple way to make it so when you rotate one the other eye rotates on it's own pivot point, the same?

thanx

There is a way to make eyes look at a target(so that they look at the same thing) user added image

However I dont know how to do it without Maya installed, but its rather simple.

Look around in the "animation" area, i dont know the name but it might be "look at target"(could be 3ds max tho)

You could also google it in hope of finding a tutorial.

Best of luck! user added image

its in the constraints menu in the animation section, it should be:

Constraints>Aim

or something to that effect, i usually use a locater(create>locater) and just aim constrain both eyes to it, so i can move it around without moving one of my polygon meshes around.

heres wot u do

draw a curve something that represents eyes (like a oval or something)

Modify> centre pivot & freeze tranformations

Do the same for your eye

Then all you do is select the curve, shift select the eye, and in your animation menu, select constraints > aim

Now move your curve and your eye will follow (you will have problems unless you centre pivot and freeze transformations)

now repeat for the other eye

good luck
