Sorry for lack of updates lately but my birthday was this past weekend so I've been playing the last several days and having fun.

Thanks everyone!

The seat is temporary as I'm still not sure what I'm going to go with. I've started to work on the UV's. Once I finish the UV's I'll save it and then I'll abandon/neglect it, and then rework the UV's as needed.

Not sure why, but the two previous posts, i noticed the checkered board pattern is a little distorted and doesn't look square. So Heres an arial shot of the seat to show that they really are square.

Thanks Benny...and yes, I will finish it. I really only need 1 day to finish.

I have full time job, I'm working on a game, I'm working on 2 websites, working on making tutorials, and starting a 3d business doing 3d renderings for residential and comercial projects. So, this is last priority, hehe. But, I will have it finished by the 23rd deadline.

I'll work on it a couple of hours this weekend and then finish up one evening next week. Thanks for checking up on me though :-)

Worked on the texturing a little. Will finish up later this week, when I have more time.

COOL! I almost thought it is real!
If it wasn't for the parts that aren't textures...

BTW, I have a question about the background - How do you make it? is that just a plane with a texture? I tried it but it looks flat...

Keep it up,
Benny

BennyK,
Here's a screenshot that shows what's modeled. Lighting plays a big role in whether things look flat or not. The more you play around with lights, the better you'll get.
