Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

umm. ive never heard of a car that can let you use a regular manual shifter and then f1 shifters in a different mode.. since you clutch would be activated by either a computer or the clutch pedal.. not both...
ive seen regular fully automatic.. and then having f1 paddles.

no ferrari for sure has that though

I think you misunderstood,

I did'nt mean in a sports or casual driving mode (controled by the CPU for rev limits, dif sets etc) I meant in the way the person drives the car i.e if there driving casually they can use the stick, and the paddles if they want to give it some round a track.

Then again I dint see thet the car had a full Manual stick, I assumed it was a auto box with a "tiptronic" shifter with paddles.

haha its not that cold up here and btw there are a number of animation and game studios up here, the most popular is ea. but anyways im feeling much better today so i did some little work on the car today, and the shifter looking thing on the centre console is not the gear but the hand brake if thats what you guys are aruguing about, and im just doing paddle shifters for this car.
