Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

make a wall fall down through a machine gun

First let me say HELLO.
I have a awesome MG, and a wall (about 50 Pieces who all active rigid bodys). I wan´t shoot the wall down. when the bullet is an active rigid body and is emitted through a gravity field, it looks fantastic. (when you rotate the scene to horizontal view zzzuser added image Of course, i don´t want that, because it´s to slow to be realistic. When I wan´t animate the bullet with keyframe, it doesen´t work, because after the first key you can´t move the bullet (the bullet is an activebody but without a gravity field). when i only animate with keyframing its to much work to animate realistic. who can help me with this problem. :headbang:

if you want to speed up the process you could always try increasing the gravity on the bricks and the weight of the bullet...

another possible solution would be to set your framerate of the animation to say 10 frames per second, and then in a compositing program increase it back up to 30 frames per second... that would speed up the movement, though it might not look right.

Accept no substitutions.

i think you can cantrol whether you enable the object as an active body or disable...so...you can animate it by keyframes until it hits the wall...and then you ENABLE the bullet as an active Rigid body.
you just have to animate the enable controller as a stepped curve.

hope it helps good luck.
