I'll be up for a challenge I think it would be really cool to have (not now but maybe in a few months) a challenge of charter animation destroying something. I.E. dinosaur ripping a kitchen apart, human axing a tree, anything really..

Yeah Rage did some VFX challenges a bit ago.

Again if people are interested then I will set up the challenge.

I may be able to offer a prize but I will have to see if I can get hold of it and the specs required from work.

Hmm... could this perchance be some kind of hardware prize?? My curiosity is piqued.

Cool Murambi.

Nah not hardware.

If I can offer it I'll say what it is, but I'll have to see if Its possible.

Nice one guys.

Hi Tweety, not seen you on for a bit, everything going ok for you?

Camrat - yeah entering a comp is a learning curve. You get to lean a heck of a lot, along with seeing other peoples work coming together and seeing how they went about it also helps.

Right, I'll set up the challenge, rules etc and post it up next Saturday.

Going to go for the horror style (think resident evil, silent hill, jason, Nightmare, Hellraiser among many, many others, check out clive barkers work for some ideas etc), can be a character, animal, beast, robo mech evil killer whatever! High or low poly, any software, bust of full figure, existing or new, fully textured or just modelled. Pretty freeform to get people in there and creative juices going.

If people like it and want different challenges then we may go for a lighting/rendering challenge next.

Yer I`m good - no internet (well real internet any way - mobile don`t count) has kept me away after the move.

Think great idea for challenge but think the lighting rendering for the next one is also very cool.

Hard Yakka BUT if I go I will have nothing to do at night (I hope). Im not sure if I want to be away from my family again but $130/hr is tempting?

cheers bullet
