Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

3delight animation sequence CALCULATING STUCK

I just rendered 300 frame animation with 3delight inside maya

and now it appears to be frozen at "calculating" on the bottom of the screen & the program has the hourglass cursor when you put your mouse on it..


I think it's calculating all the frames into a video? or something? but I don't know


I just know its frozen at calculating


It's been doing this for probably atleast.........6 hours now....so I don't think it's doing ANYTHING.

...tbh, I would need more info (or the scene) to know whats wrong. :/

tell me if everything appears to be there since I haven't sent anyone scenes before.



I just wanna render out this scene as a png sequence and put it into after effects to make it turn into a video (I know I have to do batch render......but not sure if it is that way with 3delight... also there's not many tutorials on that renderer....but I like how it looks.. plus it's free)
