and the hatch itself. It still needs the handle on the outside and inside sorting as well as glass sections:

and from inside the plane

cheers AikoWorld, there's plenty of errors I'd like to sort, believe me user added image

Not much to show at the minute but here's another update filling in the framework for the mark1 nose section. A couple of bits in the frame will be changed/removed before more things are added:

lol DJbLAZER, probably getting that way user added image

Here's some blocking in of the features of the cockpit area also with the overhead cockpit hatch frame in. The main cockpit area is a bit of a struggle to get things positionally looking ok due to poor reference material:

lol Jay, I love the 'are we there yet?' bit user added image

Another update, played around with the chair shape and added the tubing framework for the windows in the cockpit. Next I think will be the cockpit interior parts.

wires, I think I set the tubing at too high a setting:

oh and as I haven't looked at it all together for a while, here's the current stage. There's a fair bit of slowdown in the viewport on this view user added image

wow - that is just looking insane! really like what you've been doing - you're going to be able to do some very nice renders maybe with cut aways showing the insides. looking forward to seeing some textures on this. what you planning? user added image

cheers arran user added image its one of those 'start something small' jobs that was too interesting to just do an exterior with. The idea of this piece is to use it on a showreel. Maybe used to create an animation of taking off or maybe even for some dynamics as if it gets hit or something. Cutaways will definitely be there as there's too much detail to miss user added image

Edit: cheers mastone user added image
