Surface transfer Problems

Hi guys, I'm having problems with the surface transfer command, basically I cannot view the texture. I have followed https://www.jeffparrott.com/normalmaptut_02.html tutorial, but I presume as this tutorial doesn't have an assigned texture there is probably another step that I haven't done.

Any ideas?

I have...

Overlayed the two, low shift select high
Transfer surface,
connection editor>Outcolour/normal camera
Turned on high quality rendering

Anything the I'm missing?

Thanks
