shame it doesnt support fur, or does it?
and the maya renderer still needs to improve

I think MR do support fur and paintFX in Maya 5.0, through the PaintFX to Polys option .. dunno if theres a fur to poly option tho..

it's really too soon....I guess they were having complaints with the render and with particles coz once you apply particles to a body everything turns white.!!!!

hardware rendering!!! OMG!! sweeeeet my new gfx card is gunna love that user added image nt sure if a quadro4 980 will be able to make best use of it tho user added image

Yeah, I wonder if Im finally gonna have to move up from my slow, 7200 radeon. I guess Ive gotten away with a game card for long enough but the money is tight now. I've always been able to put up with the radeons overlay troubles.
I don't know about shelling out another 1200 usd for a software upgrade right now but I think its worth every penny if I can find the cash.
