Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Actually, none of it's subd. It's all polygon modelling, smoothed.

I don't think it's that bad, maybe if it had a few more curves, rather than being so blocky. The model's looking good.

wow great job. I love the shoulder/neck area. As for the armor, if he's an aggressive character, I'd give it more diagonals and make it look less rounded.

It seems a little too blocky but it looks good.

Great model!
Maybe you should work a bit at the muscle of the legs (just a thought)
Cheers.

very nice work - the mechanical arm looks a bit soft, harder edges would be a nice contrast to the very nicely done organic work on his body.

overall, really good work.

I liked the mask in the concept better.
Also, I think you should bring back that think on his sholder and across the chest from the concept because that looks like a rpetty heavy gauntlet so I wonder how he can keep balance without a counter-weight
