Robot WIP

This is something I've been working on and planning to do an animation with it. All of the pistons on the fingers and toes work, set driven keys, they were a bit of work to set up. This is just the default light so nothing fancy. I am thinking of doing the animation in black and white that is why there is no colour. Any C&C welcomed! Thanks.

Thanks guys,

Yeah I am working on a factory that it works in. He's on a assembly line putting very delicate things together. That is why his fingers are so delicate as well.

I'm trying to design a city that is totally populated by robots and trying to think of what thye would design it like. My current train of thought is that they would have no need for excess space. all environments would be as economical towards space as possible. I have a start on on building that is nothing but walls that house robots on them. They all fit into a recessed part of the wall like a puzzle and textend up high into the sky. This is where they recharge after a period of work.

Any other thoughts on this?

Kind of Like the Animatrix, if you've seen that, thats what this reminds me of.
They show the way the city is shaped its how a machine would think... Efficient and space comsuming. Buildings Flowing out from a central point efficiently.

Why not go for a complete contrast with the environment and have something organic instead.

Thanks for the ideas. I haven't seen Animatrix yet but I may look at it for inspiration.

Jango; I probably won't go organic not because it's a bad idea but rather, I suck at organic modelling. That's why I chose robots to base a animation on.
