This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Fat Man

Ok need some critiques its a characature (Sp.?) so it isn't suppose to be realistic, is for my 1 minute short that i have to do for my course basically this is what i made with only learning 2 months of Maya so don't expect too much! user added image.

For 2 months of Maya that is damn good ..and as for realistic,I thought I was looking in the mirror....although I do have arms ....hehe.

Hey Tyro

2months in and looking good. For a bit of critique, perhaps a rounder belly as towards the bottom of it, kind of looks square and a little flat. Get the arms and legs on and lets have another look after, keep it up!!! Also some close ups of the face would be good too!!

Hey it looks promising, obviously you still need to fit the eye socket around the eyes and detail in the ear, plus the mouth is gonna need a cavity and lips but hey its good man!!

Just enjoy yourself while you're doing it and it'll get done real quick!!! Keep Going Dude
