Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Too much good info!

I'd just like to say that as a total newbie to Maya I'm so glad I found this site! I'm going to be on information overload for weeks around here. I'm sure as I get into Maya I'll have lots of good questions and several stupid ones for all you experts. I've been Photoshopping for several years now and did some 3D way back in the old days with my Amiga 4000 and Lightwave 3.0 (which is now in my basement in its box, poor thing). Hopefully, I'll be worthy enough to join your competitions in the near future. So kudos on a great site and I look forward to learning lots!

Welcome!

Another Amiga user, eh? I had an Amiga 2000HD, and I played around with Imagine for a bit. That was a long time ago... user added image

Thanks again all! Hey Hidalgo, remember the game 'Shadow of the Beast' on the Amiga? Thats what inspired me to buy mine originally. Then when I 1st saw Babylon 5, that locked it. I had to get the whole Toaster/Lightwave bundle. Rendering times were somewhat painful with my whopping 25Mhz CPU! Cheers!

Heh heh. I think mine had 16mhz.

I saw a demo of Amiga software at a computer store in 1987-88 and they had several games they were showing off. That's what got me intrigued.
