Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Maya hair/fur

Hi! I just got the urge to learn hair/fur in Maya. I've heard that the built in Maya hair/fur isn't that good. Is it worth buying shave and a haircut? Has anyone used it/both?

What do you want to make furry?
You'd probably want to try shave before you "buy" it. Maya fur doesn't cost anything, just give it a go first.

True. Gonna try to find a good tutorial. Cause i heard that it's complex rendering fur in mental ray user added image

Well, just for creatures (warewolfs for example).

I wouldn't say it's complex, just might be slow.
