No Black and White on Weight Paint Tool

Dear Sirs and Madames,

When clicking on the Paint Skin Weights Tool my figure is not turning to black as it should. I have checked that rendering is set to Default Quality, I've checked that x-ray is off and I'm on Smooth Shade All, I've tried toggling Use Default Material, yet, no no no, I can not seem to get the black and white necessary to do the proper weighting.

Any suggestions out there? Please!?

Stretch
