Pixar Releases RenderMan® Pro Server 11.5 means version 11.5 of the Server package, so doesn't say much about the version of the software that is in the package (you don't really need it... you need Renderman Artist Tools (which is at version 5.5))

If you look it up on the pixar website, you see that the Pro Server package contains:
- Renderman (the renderer)
- Irma
- Alfserver

The RAT package contains:
- MTOR (you need this to work with maya!)
- Slim
- Alfred
- It
(it's not very clear, but the renderman reder engine is included in the RAT package too, so, as I said, you need the RAT-package)

And "pixar renderman v4.5 for maya" just means Version 4.5 of the Renderman render-engine... so it doesn't say anything about the Maya version.
I believe that you can use the 4.5 version of PRMan with Maya 5.0.1, but the last version is always best. (dunno wich version is last)

whatever!
