Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Sorry to say that what Im making for this is not for the film!

The stuff for the film is about 70% done, still need to do a bit for it.

Once the film is out then if I get permisson I'l post up the bits and bob's, its about 10 min long for the whole thing.

I'm doing the VFX withe a few people/places, so its not all me, be too much,m so damm good credit to them!

Really well shot with a great crew, workiing with 4.5k is an eye opener.

The colour grading is superb along with the overall shooting, direction, post crew and editing.

Keep an eye open for updates!

Steve

Hi Bullet,

Personally I would use the hand as a guide, its pretty low poly but has the overall form. You could model it as that then simply add more edge loops and such to better define the form.
