Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

3x3/randomize an object's UVs

I remember a few years back when i tried making a tree I got adviced to use a script that would layout my UVs for the leaves 3x3. This was the link i downloaded that script from: https://www.djx.com.au/blog/2012/07/2...nd-does-grass/

I remember it was a great script but this doesnt work on maya 2014. Do you have any script that you use for randomizing the UVs of an object? I am in desperate need of one, so please reply ASAP.

Thanks

Have you tried contacting David(djx) about it? You could also find him on CGtalk.

i went through my old e-mails and found one conversation with him. he wrote to me how it should be done, and it works fine now. i thought i would be able to just run the whole thing like MEL, but nope.
