Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Garfield... the dog...

He looks kind of like a dog.
Maybe the legs are a bit thick to be on a cat?
And the paws are a bit too large I think?

Maybe some other abstraction is needed to separate the dog-caricature (im sorry it reminds me of a dog, take no offence!) from a cat-caricature.

Aaah.
I think it is the posture.
Cats dont usually stand like this do they.
They have this graceful stance.

The behind should be elevated more I think. Unless the cat is sitting. (sitting posture= strong posture with a specially curved backbones)

I didn't get what you mean. The hips supposed to be higher...

I will take a look, I will post another camera view to see if it changes. About the paws, I did that in purpose.

Thanx for the reply... I 'll be teaking some parts that I didn't like.
