This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Rig controls after binding

I have an old character that is bound to basic FK joints for control. Now that I know more about IK and rigging, Can I include Ik handles and Grab Icons to the joints without affecting the weights already on the joints and mesh?

yes. you can export your weights and make any adjustment to your rig then re-import the weights.
