I watched it yesterday. Boy was I dissapointed. Don't get me wrong the fight scenes, Ducati bike chase, CG stuff, the 2 rastas were all great but the story SUCKED!!!!!!!
What I found really boaring was-

1-The dancing/love making scene. Did not impress me at all.
2- The architect was talking so much bullshit.
3- Ending was shit
4- Yes the fights were cool but no progression from the previous Matrix movie.
5- I t has been said millions of time CG alone cannot make a movie cool. The story has to be good.

Now for me LOTR owns Matrix. It is a perfect combination of CG and good story telling. I am just looking forward to Part-3 of LOTR and TERMINATOR 3 " Rise of the machines"

The music towards the end of the trailer is AWESOME!!!!! You now what??? I will start a new thread about T3 :-)

they are making part 2 bigger - movie 2 and 3 is part 2. but so they had it in movie length and could add more scenes that expand the length they just split it up user added image

now i wonder if matrix is designed as trilogy - does that mean 3 parts or 3 movies - would really be annoying to have end revolutions exactly as reloaded. and they make us then wait for the 3rd part user added image

lotr (the book) is not a trilogy - only a story split up into 6 books.

it was published in one volume. book 1 and 2 belong to fellowship of the ring, book 3 and 4 to two towers and back 5 and 6 belong to return of the king. they also published it (dont ask me what was first) as a 3 volume set. and as the story has 3 parts, people were just confused and called it trilogy, as it had 3 "books" (volumes of the 3 volume version).

I find it more convient to be published as a trilogy. would have been a hassle as 6 books

It was written as 1 book. The pulisher would not publish it as one huge book, so they forced Tolken to split it up into 3. Tolken had already split the book up into 6 volumes during the writing of the big book, so he just made each book, 2 volumes each. Then followed The Hobit, then The Silmarillion. But thats another story.
