This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
The Acropolis, an excellent idea, always reminds me of Jason & the Argonauts (I think) anyway it's the one where the heroes get some serious hurt put on them by a bunch of Harpies, Ray Harryhausen styleee.
hey Matt, yea, i love that, when (or you could, saying stuff like he was asked to help with jurassic park but turned it down?? ).., its easy to find.., well it must be.., I found it??!! lost the link in a crash since.
anyway, funny thing happened, I got this far through the model and now maya is saying, 'unrecognized file'..?? bummer.
this would be cool - hope you are still going to keep at it, or start again if the file is messed up... might be nice to have a few headless and limbless statues about the place.

I have absolutely no time Arron, its sunday and I have to lay a movie in Protools today, dia ti dia.., fx to fx.., seperate dialogue.., ambient footprint, ect.., I stole that time yesterday//.I should have been at uni and I should be there now
ancient god of the sea eh?? (it would take a 'Kosta' to se us straight )sounds good to me.., umm?? theres enough interest here to keep me interested.., its true I did copy it from a picture.., well, scribbled a rough outline it is a better word, but i didnt think it a all recognisable??.
the file is now unrecignised?? beats me?? its only ever happened once or twice before.
i changed the hue values in PS and hoped this would pass?? I guess I can start again and continure in what little spare time i have.., actually I have a grea idea.., umm??!!
i have been doing some experimenting.., this is a volumetric fog.., suprisingly i think i had better results.., with this project.., with enviromental fog/physical fog/water.., density 2
hi mate, there is no detail.., I think it even still has the default shader on it.., (though I did 'shatter' a few cloumns as you can see. I spent an hour this morning on it and 30 minutes on the water.., the detail on the model.., some rocks and brocken stuff and light shining from the surface is coming up next.., over the next weeks.
the water needs vast improment and that will happen too.., this is just something quick to get out there because I said I would
