Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

looking very nice...i say leave it like it is...aside from the texturing : ) the two blood spots look a little weird, either more of it..or none of it : ) just looks like he was eating a burger and spilled some ketchup : )

cheers guys - heheh yeah that blood does look a little odd right now but the textures are far from finished. will beadding a lot more blood and dirt.

After that need to model a couple of weapons - have one already not sure if I like it or not.

here's what is probably the finished skirt thing - unless you can sport some big problems - I know it might be a bit wide - but the final pose (if I get that far) should make it look not too bad.

i didn't get time to rig it or create an environment

extra things - the eyes have a texture just get washed out with the dome light user added image

didn't texture the small tusks and didn't change them - basically forgot user added image

REALLY enjoyed this challenge - this is definitely the best texturing and modelling I have done. I said at the start this was to learn some better texturing and I have def leraned loads user added image
