Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
strange. in max there is an option that says you can. But for the love of god i dont know how.
There is a conversion tool that allows to to exports as an FBX file and import into maya. But there are settings you need to change in order for it to work.
For example: select the root node and press......for a start, navigating in max is like learning maya again...im likewoooah!
I got the rig from turbo squid, and the person who created it has more excellent characters for sale which im willing to buy.
However, it doesnt give any contact info of the creator so i could ask if he could rig them or convert them in maya.
aarrrrghh! i really want these characters lmao :p

Go to a site for max users, maybe they know, otherwise you could contact the people who own the site you buy your models from and ask them if the guy/woman would like to do that for you
