Power Mac or Pentium-4
What would you do?! Does anyone have any experiance with Maya on a Mac.

whichever OS your most comfortable with. Maya will run on either platform just fine. If you go the mac route, you'll probably want to upgrade from the standard video card. Of course you'll need a good video card on a PC as well.

neone know ne straight forward sites or forum where i could get advice on the hardware perfomance or what hardware specs i should run to get optimal performance with maya. i am thinkin of gettin dual processor is there another option. what card is best? price range is below super expensive. i mean i dunno i want to spend about 6000TT or 1000us on total system minus monitor.
