Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

resizing bones with IK handles

Is it possible to resize bones when you have already applied IK handles to them?

Hmmm... This is one of the major no-no's in rigging. You should never resize anything after you have created the initial skeleton. It causes a LOT of problems down the road.

If it's not bound to a mesh, I guess you could try it. If not, just delete the IK handle, resize, or re create the bones, and then reattach the ik handles.
