You got that right JB, i and other mods will judge the tournament battles tonight once all the entries are in.. then we will pick the 4 winners from the 4 battles and make 2 new threads named (Tournament #1 - RND2 - Blah VS Gah). DARN!!!!

i absolutely had no time, i thought of spending the whole day on this, but i had to goto mecca, so i had absolutely and totally no time, so i modelled a pretty simple head with the spongy thing the fly has to suck thing, and called it the mic, lol, btw, the back is smoothed, and i could not do the variations in the wings i wanted to do, darn, i suck, anyway, here is the "final render"... mumbo will be jumpin with joy by now.. user added image!!!!

and btw, i will do all the "vents", more detailed head, and make it a more mechanical looking fly in the next round, if i go thru...

FINAL :

Verdict

Thankyou both for participating in this tournament! This was a wonderful battle and both of you worked very hard and look what you ended up with.. how much did you learn? Anyways, the winner is:

Tariqrf

Great job tariqrf, wonderfully done the render smoothed came out great! Mumbojumbo, thanks for competing.. you did a great job working on that model.. just you have the skills man, you just have to work on the general shape of the body, it tends to come out with a rectangle shaped body and a spherical head user added image. With more time you can do wonders! Keep up your modelling to both of you and I will see you Tariqrf in round 2 user added image.. you will be able to see the next thread start up minutes after this post. Along with who you are versing user added image. Thanks again.

Congrats Tariqrf
As per my dear padawan, you just keep improving! user added image
Instead of playing with artisan, why don´t you try some vertex pulling bud? I´m sure you´ll make heap improvements with that!
Cheers,
