Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

MEL Resources?

Hello!

Well I've tought about it and I've decided...

Since I got into Programming with Computers at first, and now that I like Maya so much, I've decided that I want to learn as much as I can about MEL (what's better than Programming and Maya in one? user added image )

If anybody has any MEL resources that would be very helpful!

thanks!

Well, I'd normally jump in here and plug my book user added image but since you're probably looking for something FREE you might check out Brian Ewert's online tutorials:

You know, there are at least two ways of getting things done... Your way and the right way...

The MEL script section on Highend3D is also a good resource. I've learned a lot just by downloading and reading through several of the scripts up there.

Also, in addition to Brian Ewert's article online there were some articles written by David Stripinis in some old issues of Game Developer magazine. Might be worth tracking those down at a good library...
