Creating an Ocean

Ive been wanting to create a fierce ocean, and am not sure how to go in doing this. In the maya help section it says that maya comes with an coean plane and shader, but it just says to go to fluid effects. In dynamics all I can find are Fire effects, smoke, fireworks, lightning, shatter, curve flow, and surface flow. Where do I go in getting the Ocean plane and shader?

Well that kinda sucks.... Is there any way I can make an ocean without using fluid effects?

You could possibly make a texture of an Ocean, but that would only be 2D.
