joint orientation

I got this joint orientation script from Gnomon website.
joint -e -zso -oj xyz -ch;
But I don't understand what's the -zso for. Can someone give me a hand? Thanks!

Here ya go. Alias says it better than I would. Straight from the book. going through scripts is a really good idea on understanding the way Maya works.

-zso - It sets the scale orientation to zero and compensate the change by modifing the translation and joint orientation for joint or rotation for general transform of all its child transformations.
The flag will be ignored if the flag -so is set.
