4.5 Personal Learning Edition + DVD

I just got mine in the mail today. The DVD is great for people who need a raw introduction. Being somewhat familiar with Lightwave 3d, I am able to navigate roughly through the interface already. I have the earlier version of the PLE so I'll find out what's new with this one.

At $19.99, it's a great bargain. You get the Beginner's Guide, the DVD to accompany it and the PLE version 4.5...

Agreed...the PLE and DVD combo is a great starting point for beginners.....and it's not expensive so anybody can go out and buy it to learnuser added image

I haven't seen that yet, but then I barely know what I am looking at...

swich to dynamics mode (F4) and there should be a Fluids Effects menu user added image

There is not.

Also, I checked AW site and it states that fluid effects is not part of the PLE 4.5

PLE is based on maya complete. fluid effects is only in unlimited user added image
Still its great that theyve got rid of the watermark in wireframe view. Nice one A|W !
