My 1st character

Hi everyone,

This is my first bit of animation using a character that I actually built. The walk doesnt look right to me but I think it has something to do with the arms. The problem is, if I move them more they look like their moving too much for the speed he's walking but if I move them less they look too wooden.

here's the animation in windows media and quicktime 7

Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated as usual!

All the best
Simon

Well Im going to be controversial here - I think that by actually having him walk this way, gives him more character. Its not as if hes human anyway, so why walk like one?

If he was lifting a heavy load then he'd need the use of his elbows

Good Stuff

he reminds me of kevin from harry enfields if you hav ever seen that show.like a teenager lost the use of his arms but i do actually agree with Jay.he does seem to have a lot of character when he walks im sure just with a little bit of tweaking he will be great
