Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

G...

thank you bro...

Arran...

Thanks, yeah I'm very happy with it, shame I couldn't bash it out quicker, but thats life when you mix freelance work with day work I guess.

Im glad you can see it all come together, thats the frustrating thing for me with forums, nobody knows until the completion of the model how it will turn out. I always see the bigger picture as opposed to a percentage of what the 'viewer' will get.

Anyway on with the texturing.

I think I'll start a new thread now as this one is too big now, but thanks to everyone who has viewed it, wow, thats a big figure!!

Cheers
Jay

Hey thank you!! I hope it can inspire and motivate despite the work involved, the light is always on at the end of the tunnel, the bulb just occasionally blows...LOL

Im hoping the next model will be even better, especially once my Zbrush arrives...

Thank you, Im really looking forward to it, I've been putting it off getting it for a while, I tried the demo ages back and knew then it was a necessary bit of kit, especially Zspheres, man those are the coolest. Ive been downloading and watching the Pixologic videos too to get more of an insight as well. Bring it On!! LOL

Fantastic model Jay. More amazing every time I look at it.

Those Pixologic videos are phenomenal. The tutorial system most people use is amazing as well. Theres nothing like getting a ZScript tutorial and watching the model being built in front of you so you can watch exactly how to use it.

man, that girl is wicked. as was said, great to see it come together finally, all the pieces put togehter. very tasteful, you have a sexy-hip shootin-not-quit-demure gal who looks like she can turn on the charm and just as easily shoot yu down. man that girl is really something differant and really out of the box.

you say your starting a new thread..? for texturing I guess?please let us know the name of the thread before you close this one off, .

cheers.

take it easy and life will be easy
