I plan on getting Maya soon...I can't believe it costs 1800 bucks. :'(

Has everyone here bought Maya? user added image The cheapest I could find it for was 1896 bucks! Thats crazy... I was wondering if there were somewhere I could just pirate it. user added image

MayaPLE is available for free though, just like maya complete, but it has a watermark overlayed.

you may be uncomfortable with the watermark the first time you try out the program. but if you keep at it you will end up ignoring it and see right through it.
