Reactor for May

Hello guys, im new to Maya. I got Maya 8.5 and taking baby steps so i can register all.

anyway my question is: is Maya capable of using Reactor?

Is Reactor even compateble with Maya? And if so do you buy it separetly? or does Maya come with an equibillant plug in?

thanks guys

Reason i ask is cause i saw some samples of Reactor for 3dmax and it looks great and full of potential.

I hope i made the right choice starting with Maya.
